Help for emote
Emotes are sent as standard messages to a discussion. Anything you send to an
emoting discussion will be appended to your name and shown to all members of the
discussion. Examples (assuming your name is "Ceej", and you wish to emote in the
discussion called "beener"):
beener;waves to all. -> > (to beener) Ceej waves to all.
beener;bips Nance. -> > (to beener) Ceej bips Nance.
The first character of your message can invoke certain special formats:
beener;"Hi there! -> > (to beener) Ceej says, "Hi there!"
beener;?'scuse me -> > (to beener) Ceej asks, "'scuse me?"
beener;@Hmmm... -> > (to beener) Ceej . o O (Hmmm...)
beener;'s point... -> > (to beener) Ceej's point...
beener;, having... -> > (to beener) Ceej, having...
You may remove the special formatting of these initial characters by putting a \
in front of them. So:
beener;\@ the store. -> > (to beener) Ceej @ the store.
