Help for signal

Usage: /signal [eventlist [[thinglist] on|off|clear|default]]
        /signal [eventlist] thinglist like other_thing

The /signal command is used to control when the lily server will include an
additional signal with the notification for an event. Your client is free to do
whatever it wants to send this signal, but most of them ring the terminal bell.

/signal [eventlist]

displays the default signal status and the exceptions to this for the given
events, or for all events if none are specified.

/signal eventlist on|off

sets the default signal status for the given events.

/signal eventlist thinglist on|off

sets the given users or discussions to the given signal status for the given
events. This setting overrides the default status just for these users and
discussions with respect to the given events.

/signal [eventlist] thinglist clear|default

resets the given users or discussions back to the default signal status for
the given events, or all events if none are specified. This clears any
overrides for these users and discussions.

/signal eventlist clear

clears overrides for all users and discussions for the given events, resetting
the signal status for all users and discussions back to the currently set
  default for these events.

/signal eventlist default

clears overrides for all users and discussions for the given events and resets
the default signal status for these events back to the original system
  default.

/signal [eventlist] thinglist like other_thing

sets the overrides for the given users and discussions to match the overrides
of another user or discussion for the given events.

all is a special value for eventlist that affects all event types.
