Help for /appoint
Usage: /appoint members|user[,user,...] disc[,disc,...] [owner|speaker|author]
Since discussions can be very busy, the need for more than one moderator can
easily arise. The /appoint command is the interface by which you can add
moderators to a discussion. Simply supply the appropriate user and discussion
names. To see a list of the current moderators use the "/what discussion"
command. To make all current members of a discussion into moderators, use
"/appoint members disc[,disc,...]".
To add a moderator, specify the user list and the discussion (but none of the
optional keywords).
To add speakers or authors, simply add the appropriate keyword to the end of the
command. For example, "/appoint FeRD -sex author" will make the user FeRD an
author of the sex discussion, allowing him to update the memos.
For information on using appoint and unappoint for transferring discussion
ownership, see "/help transfer".
